The 18th Annual Pines Speedway Reunion

Vintage Race Cars from the 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and 60’s

  • Pines Speedway (Next to Town Hall) – Original Track Site (183 Main St., Groveland, MA)
  • 2020-2021 Special Legend Honorees:  These three friends from the freshman class of 1971 at the Haverhill Trade School brought cars to races at the Pines before they were old enough to have their drivers’ licenses.  The Pines Speedway launched all three to very successful local racing careers.

  • 2020-2021 Honorees
    • Andy Cote:  Andy Cote was a well known wizard at making a ford flathead engine perform.  He built great handling and fast No. 444 race cars that went to victory lane by many drivers, including local legend Ollie Silva.
    • Dick Noel:  Dick Noel’s driving career started on dirt tracks while in the U.S. Air Force before winning closer to home at the Pines in 1960.  He is best remembered in the No. ? (question mark car) at the Pines.
